As an historic building, the House regrettably has no lift to the first floor. However, Knebworth’s history can be conveyed to visitors on the ground floor. Ground Floor rooms are accessible to wheelchairs, but we ask that pushchairs and mobility scooters are not used in the House or Raj exhibition.
Wheelchair accessible toilets are located at the entrance of the gardens, in the House and at the Adventure Playground.
A wheelchair is available for use from the Gift Shop. Unfortunately, the wheelchair cannot be reserved.
Parking is available directly in front of the House by prior arrangement.
The Garden paths are mostly gravel.
Guide dogs for the blind and hearing dogs for the deaf are permitted throughout the House, Gardens and Park.
