Music At Knebworth

Music has featured throughout Knebworth’s history. The old hall was alive with music in the Sixties – that’s the 1760s – when Scotland’s foremost composer of that century, James Oswald was married to Leonora Lytton and composing popular hits such as “Knebworth Jig”

Classic Ibiza – 19th August

The Urban Soul Orchestra conducted by Stephen Hussey perform classic Ibiza anthems under the stars, with DJ Goldierocks and vocalists Max Barnes-Davy, Jina Burrows and Roo Savill. This will be the biggest dance party of the Summer full of iconic Ibiza anthems.

Great British Prom – 20th August

Join The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Inglis for a tour through the home nations as they make their debut at Knebworth House to pay tribute to British music across the four nations, closing with a spectacular firework display!

Knebworth 40

Henry Lytton-Cobbold remembers 40 years of music history at Knebworth House.

In 2014 Knebworth Park celebrated 40 years of its classic concerts.  On July 1st, a unique gathering at Knebworth House brought together promoters, crew and key people from behind the scenes of every one of these shows.  DJ Nicky Horne compered many of the early concerts – listen to Nicky’s report of this special anniversary event, as broadcast on his Classic Rock Magazine Show on TeamRock Radio.
