Q: The season ends on 30th September, that’s just 3 months away! Is it still worth me buying a Season Ticket?
A: Absolutely! We are open daily throughout July & August and so we still have over half of the total annual open days remaining. Plus there are many fantastic events packed into the busy summer months; some say we save the best until last. Make the summer of 2018 one to remember!
Q: What is the price of a Personal Season Ticket and do I get a discount for joining late?
A: The price of the Knebworth Park & Gardens Season Ticket has been held at just £40 for 2018 and offers free entry to the Park, Gardens, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail on all open days until 30th September 2018 making for a fun-filled Season at great value! There are no special discounts, but you will be able to claim 10% off a 2019 Season Ticket if you book pre-season.
Q: My child is aged under 3, do they get in free?
A: Children under 3 years of age do not require a Season Ticket as they already qualify for free entry. However, if the child turns 3 during the season then they will require a Season Ticket. Some play equipment may have size restrictions.
Q: Tell me more about the venue.
Knebworth Park is known internationally as Britain’s largest music venue. On general open days the 250-acres of beautiful landscaped parkland is perfect for strolls, dog walks and picnics.
Largely designed by two of Britain’s most renowned landscape designers, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll, the 28 acres of Formal Gardens are separated into distinct ‘garden rooms’, bringing a variety of landscapes and colourful plants within each area. Popular features include the maze, rose garden, walled vegetable garden and tropical borders.
The fantastic Fort Knebworth has brought joy to thousands of children over its 40-year history. Enjoy the astro and drop slides, play on the swings, slides and obstacle course at Fort Knebworth, whizz down the zip wire, try the interactive splash water play features and bounce on the new bouncy castle. Everything a kid needs to burn off energy!
Follow the trail through the Wilderness Garden and discover the fearsome prehistoric creatures in the shrubbery! Listen to the dinosaur and bird wind-up sound boxes, discover the willow huts, draw like a cave-man on the chalkboard and make your own brass rubbings!
