Visiting Knebworth House
All tours are guided, except on busy weekends, when "free-flow" tours operate with House Wardens in key areas.
Groups will be split into parties of 25 maximum. Guided Tours take approximately 1 hour; however, we can vary the timing and content of a tour to suit the interests and needs of the group.
Ground Floor rooms are accessible to wheelchairs, but we ask that pushchairs are not used in the House.
Disability Access
As an historic building, the House regrettably has no lift to the first floor. However, Knebworth's history can be conveyed to visitors with impaired mobility on the ground floor.
Wheelchair accessible toilets are located at the entrance of the gardens, in the House and at the Adventure Playground.
A wheelchair is available for use from the Park Shop.
Parking is available directly in front of the House by prior arrangement.
The Garden paths are mostly gravel.
Guide dogs for the blind and hearing dogs for the deaf are permitted throughout the House, Gardens and Park.
