Tudor Treasure Trail

GARDEN ACTIVITIES

In each area of the Garden, you will earn tokens for good teamwork and following instructions correctly. Extra tokens can be earned for answering the bonus questions. Think of the answers on the way back to the Meeting Point. Make sure you get back to the Meeting Point within the allotted time so you don't miss out on the rest of the Trail.

Maze
Enter the Maze at the Iron Gate. Remember only to walk in the maze. If you jump over or push through any of the hedges, you will lose tokens. All of the team must enter the centre of the maze before the "Treasure" can be taken. Take only one of the things you find there and do not open it.
Bonus Question: Think of as many songs or rhymes as you can that mention food.

Pond
You will find the "Treasure" hidden around the pond. There will be no need to go right to the water's edge and you must take care to keep yourself dry for the rest of the Trail. When you find the "Treasure" take one of the tokens as proof of your success.
Bonus Questions:
What other wild birds would Tudors eat?
How did they catch them?

Wilderness
You must follow the map very carefully to find the "Treasure" in the Wilderness. It is very important that you all stay together so that you do not get lost. When you find the "Treasure" take one of the tokens as proof of your success.
Bonus Questions:
How would the stag have been caught?
What other large animals were hunted in Tudor times?
