Everyone enjoyed the first outdoor exercise session in the Gardens at Knebworth House, held in support of the Royal Horticultural Society’s National Gardening Week campaign.
The theme of this year’s campaign was ‘Get fit in the Garden’; encouraging people and organisations to highlight the many different ways in which gardens benefit people’s health and wellbeing.
The exercise session on 14th April was led by Samantha Cardines, from Odyssey Health and Racquets Club in Old Knebworth Lane. Sam put together a special programme of gentle exercises based on her popular ‘Body Harmony’ class which includes Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates moves. The morning was a great success, and may form a regular addition to the Knebworth House events programme.
If you are visiting Knebworth House, Park and Gardens during April and May 2016, make sure you save your adult admission ticket. Odyssey Health & Racquets Club are inviting ticket holders a free Club Guest pass. (T’s & C’s apply – please contact the Club for more information 01438 313320).
