Financial transactions at the Main Gate, House, Garden Terrace Tea Room and Gift Shop can be made by card or cash. Please note that at events, transactions with traders may be cash-only and there is not a cashpoint on site.

Photography for personal use: Whilst we are more than happy for members of the public to take photographs of the exterior of the historic House and the wonderful gardens and park, we ask that no photographs or video films are taken inside Knebworth House or from the air. All commercial photography needs to be pre-arranged and is subject to location fees. Please email the Estate Office email@example.com
RHS members will need to show their cards at the Gate. The Main member only is admitted free of charge on weekdays. RHS cards are not valid for weekends, events or bank holidays. See the RHS handbook for details.
ART FUND members will need to show their cards at the Gate. Entrance is only via the main gate. The card holder is admitted at half price to the House, Gardens and Park on public open days (excluding event days). See the Art Fund website for details.
If you are using an Historic Houses Association membership card on an event day, you will still need to purchase Park admission.
You are welcome to Picnic & in the Park but not in the formal Gardens or Dinosaur Trail.
Use of disposable BBQs are permitted in the Park when lifted off of the ground (e.g. on bricks or a stand) to avoid scorching the ground, Users must douse the BBQ in water after use and dispose safely when cool.
Our standard policy is that dogs on leads are welcome in Knebworth Park, but are not permitted in the House, Gardens, Dino Trail or inside Fort Knebworth. This may vary for some events, for example dogs are unfortunately not permitted at Geronimo Festival, please see the event pages before arrival.
Working assistance dogs can be taken into all areas.
