Wagn has introduced a special ticket to ensure that customers attending the Robbie Williams concerts at Knebworth House on August 1st, 2nd, 3rd 2003, have a safe and comfortable journey home. It is estimated that 20,000 people each day will travel to the concert by train. The ticket, which will cost £9 return per person, will also act as a boarding pass for the return journey, as no-one will be allowed onto Stevenage station after 22:30 without one. Tickets must be purchased in advance and numbers are strictly limited. To purchase tickets please visit the WAGN website, www.wagn.co.uk The ticket is valid on Great Northern trains to Stevenage from any Great Northern station, bounded by London Kings Cross, Peterborough and Cambridge and return. (including London Moorgate on Fridays only). In addition they are valid on GNER services from London Kings Cross and Stevenage only. For journeys to Stevenage on each day many trains will be strengthened, and all Great Northern services will stop at Stevenage. There is no alteration to GNER services. Wagn is advising passengers to board the first train made available to them and are doing all they can to ensure customers have a safe and enjoyable trip home. Ticketing arrangements All customers travelling back from Stevenage after 22.30 on these three nights will be required to purchase a special travel ticket, which also acts as a boarding card. This MUST be purchased in advance and will be available via the WAGN Website (www.wagn.co.uk) from Wednesday 09th July 2003. The cost per ticket is £9.00. The website will also have instructions for purchasing these tickets by telephone. Holders of free or reduced staff travel tickets will also be required to purchase one of these boarding cards. Customers purchasing normal tickets to Stevenage should be advised that if they intend to return from Stevenage after 22.30 on these nights and they do not have a special boarding ticket, we are not able to guarantee that they will be able to make their return journey. Knebworth Station should not be used for customers going to the concerts. Train service arrangements For journeys to Stevenage on each day many trains will be strengthened, and all Great Northern services will stop at Stevenage. There is no alteration to GNER services. For return journeys from Stevenage after 22.30 a special train service will be in place, with a queuing system for returning customers. Services to Cambridge and Peterborough will be strengthened, with some additional services. A bus service will operate local stations between Royston and Cambridge. A special service will operate to London Kings Cross calling at Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross only. A bus service will serve local stations between Welwyn Garden City and Finsbury Park to cover the trains that would normally stop there. Customers should be advised that connections into tube and other rail services in London are not guaranteed.
