TRAVELLING TO THE CONCERTS

BY ROAD -
Knebworth Park is situated just off junction 7 of the A1(M), near Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

There is a major traffic management plan in force to help alleviate traffic congestion. Regular traffic bullet-ins will be broadcast on HERTBEAT FM 106.7 and 106.9.

To minimise traffic congestion as much as possible we would strongly advise you use the following routes to the concert by road :

If you are travelling from south of Stevenage (driving north) you should leave the A1(M) at Junction 7, and take the first left straight into Knebworth Park.

If you are travelling from north of Stevenage (driving south) you should leave the A1(M) at Junction 8, and follow the concert signage for car parking in Stevenage. Do not use Junction 7, the roundabout is closed, you will not be able to turn right into Knebworth Park.

If you are travelling from the Luton and Milton Keynes area you should use the A505 to Hitchin, then follow signs for concert parking along the A656.

If you are travelling from the midlands/north west, you should use the M6 then A14 then onto the A1 (M), leaving at Junction 8, and follow concert signage for car parking in Stevenage. As stated above, do not use Junction 7, the roundabout is closed and you will not be able to turn right into Knebworth Park.

If you are travelling from East Anglia using the A505, turn off onto the A10 and then the A602 - do not attempt to drive through Baldock on the A505, heavy congestion is very likely there.

CAR PARKING
There are official car parks within Knebworth Park itself, and several in Stevenage close to the concert site. There will be a £5 advance charge (plus booking fee) per vehicle per day. We would strongly advise you to purchase a car park pass in advance of the concerts. You will be sent a car parking pass to stick in your windscreen, which will have directions to the concert on the reverse. This pass will allow our car parking staff to identify you as having prepaid and enable you to have priority parking. To purchase your advance car parking pass please ring the 24 hour credit card hotline - 0870 444 5209

or online at www.gigsandtours.com/robbieparking

DISABLED PARKING
There is parking for disabled customers in Knebworth Park itself right next to the arena. BY RAIL -
All rail users should head for Stevenage station. There are extra trains running but places are very limited and you are strongly advised to book in advance.

NB - do not use Knebworth station for these concerts. If you get off at Knebworth Station you will be on the wrong side of the concert site, there is no entrance there so you will not be able to access the concert.

Please also be advised that after the concert all rail users will obviously wish to leave at the same time. Due to the numbers attending these concerts this is impossible, so please be patient at the station. The train station and surround will have a simple queueing system, has plenty of toilets etc outside, and will have a large security and police presence.
