GETTING HOME BY TRAIN

Arriving at Stevenage Station for the journey home you'll join a queuing system. After a ticket inspection the queue will split into two, one for Southbound services and one for North. Make sure you get in the right queue, as changing later won't be easy.

Don't forget your special train ticket, which is also your boarding pass. If you haven't got one, you won't get through. You will not be allowed into Stevenage station after 10.30pm without one.

After 11pm train services to London will run every 15-20 minutes. We have additional services calling at selected stations and strengthened trains, with enough space to get all boarding card holders back. Our advice? Board the first train available, avoid waiting for a specific train because it might get very busy.

Services to London will call at Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Finsbury Park and Kings Cross. A replacement bus service will call at all stations between Welwyn Garden City and Finsbury Park.

Services to Peterborough will call at all stations from Stevenage.

Services to Cambridge will call at all stations to Royston and then non-stop to Cambridge, with a replacement bus service between Royston and Cambridge Stations.

Some additional travel tips:

· Knebworth station should not be used as it cannot accommodate the expected crowds.
· LUL is shutting at the usual time (around midnight for some services).
· London buses are operating a normal night bus service.
· Check for any engineering works before travelling on other train operator's services.

Remember: No boarding pass, no boarding train!
