When visiting the Park & Gardens on 1-2nd April you can enjoy our annual Easter Medieval Jousting event at no additional charge!
The turrets and towers of Knebworth House provide a spectacular backdrop to the costumed knights on majestic warhorses galloping at full tilt across the arena in a fantastic display of horsemanship. The crowds are encouraged to cheer and jeer the Knights of Arkley as they demonstrate their skills in hand-to-hand combat.
There are two scheduled jousting displays on both days at 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm (dependent on the weather). Additional date 17th June for Father’s Day.
Once again, the Green Dragon Bowmen will be offering visitors the chance to try some archery; there is a small charge of £2 for 6 arrows.
It’s a fantastic value day out – for just £9.50 per person, families can enjoy a day at Fort Knebworth, the exciting Adventure Playground which has had a new bouncy castle installed this year, the trail of 72 life-sized dinosaurs, the Park which is excellent for games & picnics, and the 28 acres of Formal Gardens.
And remember, under 3’s go free!
Book your admission tickets online before midnight the day before of the event to save 10%. Full price park tickets will be available at the gate on the day.
