Knebworth Carvings

Event Description: Knebworth's resident carvers who are internationally renowned through competitions and exhibitions will display sculptures they have created from the trunks of large and small diameter tree logs in the formal gardens at Knebworth House. Most of the wood is recycled from tree surgeons or crops grown as nursery trees planted to protect our native broadleaf trees. The sculptures will represent many art forms including wildlife, figurative, fantasy and abstract, as well as carved seating and benches. Afternoon demonstrations will take place daily from Tuesday 30th August. Many of the items are for sale. For more information on the artists visit www.knebworthcarvings.co.uk
