Henry Lytton Cobbold ~ THE LAST DAYS OF POMPEII
("Virtue In Deceit")
Henry Lytton Cobbold is Edward Bulwer Lytton's great-great-great-grandson and current resident of Knebworth House. He has recently adapted The Last Days of Pompeii into a feature-length screenplay.
John S. Moore ~ HAROLD ("Everything Is Will")
John S Moore is a freelance writer living in Islington. His published work is mostly on Nietzsche, but his 1998 web published paper Bulwer-Lytton receives a steady stream of readers.
Sibylla Jane Flower ~ PAUL CLIFFORD
Sibylla Jane Flower is the archives and manuscript consultant for Christies, London. She is the author of Bulwer-Lytton (1973) and for over thirty years has travelled the world in pursuit of her comprehensive study of Bulwer Lytton's life and work.
Harriet Jump ~ GODOLPHIN
Harriet Jump is Reader in English Literature at Edge Hill College, Lancashire. She is currently editing Bulwer Lytton's Godolphin for a six-volume edition of Silver Fork Novels, to be published by Pickering and Chatto.

Andrew Brown is Academic Director of Cambridge University Press. His publications on Bulwer include the standard entries in the latest edition of The Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature (2000) and The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (tbp 2004).
Cedric Barfoot ~ THE SIAMESE TWINS
Cedric Barfoot is recently retired from the English Department at Leiden University in Holland, where for over thirty years he has taught Literature, specialising in Shakespeare, the eighteenth century and the Romantics.
Oswyn Murray ~ ATHENS ITS RISE AND FALL
Oswyn Murray is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and Praefectus of Holywell Manor Graduate Centre at Balliol College, Oxford. He is editing Bulwer Lytton's Athens It's Rise and Fall for a bicentenary edition from its original publisher, Routledge.
Michael Allis ~ A STRANGE STORY ("Edward Elgar's Piano Quintet")
Michael Allis is Senior Tutor in Postgraduate Studies at the Royal Academy of Music. He has a particular interest in British music in the 19th and early 20th century, and has published articles on Hubert Parry, Charles Villiers Stanford, Samuel Butler and Handel, and Edward Elgar.

Marie Mulvey-Roberts is a Reader in Literary Studies at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She edited new editions of Rosina Bulwer Lytton's A Blighted Life: A True Story and Shells From The Sands Of Time in 1994 and 1995 respectively.
Charles Snyder ~ POLITICAL SPEECHES
Charles Snyder is an attorney, practicing law in Savannah, Georgia. He is the author of Liberty and Morality: A Political Biography of Edward Bulwer-Lytton, published in 1995.
Joachim Mathieu ~ BULWER IN GERMAN
Joachim Mathieu teaches at Gabrieli-Gymnasium in Eichstätt, Germany. He is the author of Edward Bulwer-Lytton's England and the English ~ A Description of England in the 'Age of Reform', published in 2001.
Scott Rice ~ OPENING LINES ("It Was A Dark and Stormy Night")
Scott Rice is a professor of English at San Jose State University, California. He is the creator of the annual Bulwer Lytton Fiction Contest, started in 1983, which has spawned numerous published compilations.
Barry Yzereef ~ RICHELIEU ("The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword")
Barry Yzereef is a professor of Theatre History and Drama at the University of Calgary, Canada. In 2000 he directed the world premiere of Bulwer Lytton’s The Captives. In 2003 he returns to Knebworth with productions of The Lady of Lyons and his own work, The Mighty Pen....
